We are the intimidators of the Million Pound Match-up, the ultimate mother-daughter team! We’re not just talking about dieting here. This is a life change! Our love for each other, faith in god, and the strength of our special bond will ultimately help us to lose our team goal of 137 lbs. Denise - the hot Momma is currently 210 with a goal of 140, and Heather - the baby girl is currently 227 with a goal of 160. Even if Denise’s weight loss goal of 70lbs and Heather’s weight loss goal of 67lbs isn’t met we will have accomplished one thing out of the whole competition. Increasing our life span and time with each other, healthier more active lifestyles, using outlets other than eating to deal with life’s problems, and motivating others the way the show Biggest Loser has motivated us are our main goals and our real reason for participating in the Million Pound Match-Up. Denise’s wish for her daughter is health so that one day Heather may be a mother also, and Denise can finally be a grandma. We Should Win the Biggest Loser so that we can prove to the world that if we can overcome change, depression, health disorders, unhealthy relationships, distance from the ones we love, hurricanes, and life’s other little speed bumps to get mentally and physically healthy then anyone can! We would have been a great addition to Biggest Loser Couples, but unfortunately money, work, and school wouldn’t have allowed us that gift which is another reason that we should win the Million Pound Match-Up. Even if we don’t win the contest we’ll still be the Biggest Losers or should we say Biggest Winners from home because getting healthy and fit is a huge prize in itself!

Hey guys thanks for the comments on our page. I am not sure if there is a boot camp challenge in you area.  If you go to  http://bootcamp-challenge.com. You can look and see where the closest BCC trainers are to your area. This one that we have arranged is with the CINICI Ohio trainer Stephanie. She is coming on board our Weight Loss friends chris and providing this awesome service. There is only a 10 dollar reg fee for this one and then the cost of the cruise. However it is really at a great cost for an awesome vaca. It would be awesome if you guys could attend. Hope your Sunday is a blessed one.

WOW!!!! 13.6 miles!  Hmmm, I wonder if there is a Bible verse for 13.6 that would fit.  I need to look up some Bible verses for my walks!  I was so proud of myself for making the 3.2 mile walk today (on hills - high hills and low river beds, had to walk up and down 8 hills) and I said to Jim, do you think I'll ever be able to do the 1/2 marathon? and I come home and find out you did 13.6 miles!  And in awesome time for walking!!!
Girl - you are an inspiration - spiritually and physically!!!!!  I'm hunting for Bible verses for my races!!!

what has been going on with me

sorry i havent been on here much. I am back. My first grandson was born May 6th he was 20" long and 7lb 9oz. Mom and baby are doing fine. I went there for almost 2 weeks when he arrived. Mom i s already back down to prepregnency weight. I gained up to 172 while there as i didnt exrcise and ate anything i pleased. wow the weight comes back on so easily. I didnt realize how long it has been since i have bee on here. My first week back i lost 7.5 lbs I still have about 5 lbs to be back to the 159 i was at before he was born. I bought em a wi and have been doing the wii active that is a great program. I have also been out side walking as much as i can when it is not raining. Went looking for a treadmill but couldnt find one i like so i have decided that till it gets cold again i will work out side then i will join the gym so i can use the treadmills there. I have also signed up for a womens biathalon in september. I can not wait (pretty excited about that). My goal is to finish not to worry about my position. My sister is also doing it with me so should be fun. It is almost time to have to start doing the overtime but hopefully will still be able to get my exercise in. I am happy with my weight i just dont want to gain any. So i am for the most part staying in maintenance mode. I am still toying with the idea of a tummy tuck or boddy lift if i can maintain until next summer we will see. My focus is more on toning now then on weight. I will put pics of the new grandbaby on the page soon as i get a free moment seems like i am always working or running lately. Hope all is well with everyone and i am ready to get back on track!

checking in /what a sad show last night

Good morning everyone. I just thought i should check in as i havent in a while. I havent galost in over 3 weeks and this last week i gained like 1.2 which isnt bad nothing that i am worried about. Wow how sad the show last night. That was a tough choice but i think they made the right choice. I hope she continues to work on weight loss at home. With a few oth things. There is always something you can do. Hope everyone else is doing well and had a happy Easter!

missing blogging whats up

ok guys sorry i been so busy lately I havent been on here to check on everyone and blog. I have stayed the same weight the last 2 weeks when i weighed in no loss no gain. That is good especially because last week i did no exercise. The plan is to get back to at least an hour of exercise at lunch. I have so much going on at the moment. I still am having trouble with my breathing so my half marathon i wanted to do is out. I am lucky to finish 4.6 miles right now as my chest kills me and my breathing sucks. I hack and cough all evening after running. Oh well maby the dr will figure it out soon and i will get to do it next year. As far as the weight i would love to lose more but if i dont that is ok also. I cant believe it snowed this last weekend but luckily it is already melted. I took last week off trying to get my easter dress finished but that didnt happen but that is ok i think i have it far enough along it should be good by easter. I am so ready for the spring weather. Hope all is well with everyone else. I will try to read and see when i finish here. Have a great losing day!

TGIF

Thank God it is Friday. I am so ready for the weekend. Well this week i have got an hour of exercise in a day with the exception of Wed. I also havent donte today yet. But i think today will be either the stairs or maby a walk around for an hour at lunch. I have actually ran my 4.6 miles 2 times this week it was hard with the way my breathing has been lately but i am trying to not let it stop me. That is how i gained the weight in the first place is i have an injury or illness and let my self not exercise. I am not going to let this happen again.. I love the feel you get when you know you just ran 4.6 miles but throughout it i just think ihow much i would like to just stop and walk. I know exercise is better then none but it seems running takes it off of you much faster. I have been having pain in my knee after running also that is another reason i am thinking of doing something besides running today. Usually 1 day and it starts to let up. I have to get past this breathing thing though i truly want to do my first official half marathon this year which i believe is coming up in may. I did my personel one and i finished it good but i want to do this official one. That is the goal i have for now. Have agreat day and i will let you all know how the weigh in goes tommarow. Keep up the hard work.

Great weigh in

Well i started this past week trying to sleep an hour longer each night. That is hard when you are used to not sleeping that long. I also did not exercise 3 or even 2 hours a day. I was lucky to get 30 min to an hour a day. This is do partly to my breathing problems but any way it was still a good week with watching what i am eating i still was able to lose 1.2lbs. I had mentioned last week i believe that according to my waist to hip ratio i am good. Now my bmi is finally in the good range and 1 more lb my weight will be with in the range for my height. I will still be struggling to watch what i eat and fit in as much exercise as i can as i still would like to be 140 but it is not worth killing myself and some of us i guess are not truly ment to be that small. I also will continue to struggle as i know if i lose my focus i will go back up just like i did before christmas. The sad thing is it took almost 3 months to lose that little gain. I know this is and will be a life long struggle. Keep on working so hard! Thanks to everyone here supportingme in my ups and downs and i just pray to continue losing even though if i dont i can be happy with it.
